BMGS Alumni Association, Inc.

The Birabi Memorial Grammar School (BMGS) Alumni Association, Inc. is organized exclusively for educational, literary, and scientific purposes including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law), as well as any lawful purpose.

 

The Association shall be based in the United States of America (USA) and registered as a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) capable of seeking grants from various sources for the advancement and improvement of the educational standard at BMGS, Bori; therefore, the main office of the Association shall be based in the USA and have regional branches elsewhere in the world where membership count warrants a branch.

​Membership is open to all alumni of Birabi Memorial Grammar School (BMGS), Bori residing in USA, Nigeria, and other countries upon voluntary declaration of intent to become a member, and an undertaking to support, abide by and uphold the membership requirements of the Association.

The Birabi Memorial Grammar School (BMGS) is a secondary school comprising the Junior Secondary [JS1 through JS3] and Senior Secondary [SS1 through SS3] for a total of six years.  It is located in Bori, the capital of Khana Local Government in Rivers State of Nigeria.
